There are small molecules that upregulate the activity of sirtuins, our anti-aging genes. Scientists have been testing numerous molecules in search of those wonderful few that have anti-aging properties. The first one they identified was resveratrol, the chemical you probably heard about in red wine and dark chocolate that is partially responsible for their health benefits. Later, in test tubes, other compounds were identified as activators of sirtuins. The good news is we can influence their activity from outside with herbal formulas. This is great news to biotechnology, nutraceutical companies, and of course big pharma, as this means a drug or a superfood could be created that would reverse and slow aging. And many companies are looking for that right combination to hopefully make tons of money.
Many other scientists and researchers are looking at natural botanical products from which there may be some compounds that activate our sirtuins. And there are many of these anti-aging compounds in some of the foods we eat every day. And better yet, these natural compounds seem to have synergistic effects when you combine them. This is great news for us. In addition, these sirtuin activators help us stay metabolically healthy and they are cyto protective. Cyto protective means that these molecules protect your cells.
The following compounds have shown to upregulate sirtuin activity. They are called STACS–Sirtuin Activating Compounds. What is exciting is these herbs are foods so they are not artificial supplements. They are natural bioavailable superfoods. Many of them you may know.
I am listing these as you can buy some of them to get started and stir into your juices, smoothies, or sprinkle on food. You can order them in bulk and start creating your own superfood blends. Or you can order then in gel caps and just open them up to put into your blends.

We are super excited to be including the recipes for making your own blends at home. You will see that I have been very comprehensive in the blends in that I include all of the herbs shown to make a big difference in activating the anti-aging genes. At first, as you build your supply of these superfoods, you will not have all these herbs I suggest in the recipes. Feel free to eliminate anything you don’t have. Just don’t omit the flavored spices as the flavorings such as cinnamon, garlic powder, onion powder, or curry are what make the blends more delicious.
All of these ingredient can be purchased on Amazon, Alibaba, iHerb, or other websites and you can start creating blends. Again, just a little at a time. Here is a link to my personal file in which I am creating superfood blends. Feel free to use them or adapt them to the superfoods you have on hand.
If you are not of the mindset to start creating blends right now, you can start with this excellent superfood blend. As you acquire some of the sirtuin activating superfoods, you can add some to this blend to make it an ultra superfood blend.
Many of the chemicals that are potent in these superfoods are also in some of the foods we eat. I would like from here on in for you to increase sirtuin activating compounds into your diet by starting to use some of the above superfoods and adding heaping amounts of the following foods to your diet.
You can combine such foods into juices, smoothies, and salads.
